Staze Ground Transportation Services Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Staze, your trusted platform for booking ground transportation services. These Terms & Conditions (the "Agreement") govern your use of our services available via our platform (the "Platform"), connecting you with independent third-party transportation companies ("Transcos") and drivers ("Drivers") to provide you with transportation services ("Services").

Definitions

Terms defined in the introduction hold their meaning throughout this document. Additional definitions are as follows:

  • "Ride" refers to the execution of transportation services from a pickup location to a drop-off location as booked through Staze.
  • "Traveller" or "You" refers to individuals or entities using Staze to book Rides.
  • "IP Rights" encompass all intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, and designs, whether registered or not.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our Services.

Services Description

Staze facilitates the booking of ground transportation services by connecting Travellers with Transcos. Staze itself does not provide transportation services.

Use of the Platform

  • Account Registration: To use certain features of the Platform, you must register an account, providing accurate and current information.
  • License Grant: Subject to your compliance with these terms, Staze grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use.

Traveller Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate information in your account and in booking Rides.
  • Abide by all local laws and regulations when using the Services.
  • Keep your account secure and confidential.

Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

  • On-time Pickup: Transcos must strive for punctuality for all Rides.
  • Vehicle Standards: Vehicles used for Rides must meet specific safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standards.
  • Driver Conduct: Drivers must maintain professionalism, courteous behavior, and adherence to road safety laws at all times.

Payments and Cancellations

  • Fees: The total cost of the Ride will be presented at the time of booking. Payment is processed through the Platform.
  • Cancellations: Travellers can cancel bookings up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a fee.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Staze or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.

Limitations of Liability

Staze's liability is limited to the facilitation of the Services. We are not liable for the actions or omissions of Transcos or Drivers, nor for indirect damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Staze and its affiliates against any claims arising from your use of the Services.

Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from or related to this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Amendments

Staze reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of these changes.
